KASHMIR WALNUT GROUP ( formerly Kashmir Walnut Trading Company) was established in 1979 by five brothers of Nagpal Family with a vision of Global recognition as a quality supplier of Walnuts.
The company started local operations with trading of walnuts in the Jammu region of J&K,and slowly and steadily moved towards exports during year 1981. Mr.D.K. Nagpal had a major contribution in pushing the exports to the next level. Working together as a team, the five brothers soon realised the potential in them to emerge as quality supplier in the global market. Consistent quality, prompt service and reliability reaped the results.The family owned company is now into third generation and is driven by the traditional values keeping the customer fully satisfied. Also the Group is the largest packer and seller of Walnut kernels for the domestic market of India having its top brand as Tim Tim Walnut Kernels.At our recently expanded facility, we have invested extensively in the latest technology and plant design to produce the freshest, most consistent and shell-free walnuts in the world. Under the covered area of more than 50000 sq ft, the latest inclusion is the Digital Laser Sorting machines for removal of shells and other foreign matters.Apart from this, the production process has conveyor dryers, vacuum and automated packaging machines. In house Cold Storages measuring 25000 sq ft are built to maintain the quality of best standard all round the year Each and every finished product is tested in house as well as from approved Govt. Laboratory, before being exported. Only this has ensured that our product is well accepted.With the ongoing success in exports, the company expanded its sales in domestic Indian market in 1995, with the launch of TIM TIM brand, which is today the market leader in quality dry fruits.Recently, the company forayed into imports to meet the growing demand for nuts and dried fruits expanding the range with Pistachios, almonds, saffron, Cashew Nuts, Prunes, Blueberries, Pumpkin Seeds dried morels, etc.
